The town of Cahir is famous for its Norman fortification, Cahir Castle as well as the associated Hunting Lodge, known simply as the Swiss Cottage. Also in the immediate area there are the remains of once thriving monasteries at Cashel, Holy Cross and Attassel. Tipperary is also associated with evergreen valleys and mountainscapes of the Glen of Aherlow and the Vee Valley Drives.
Wicklow Mountains, Gardens & Lakes Tour
We will collect you in Dublin and take you on a tour of the highlights of the magnificent Dublin and Wicklow Mountains . The highlights of this day tour will be the wonderful St Kevin's Monastery and two lakes at Glendalough, Powerscourt House, Gardens and Waterfall that is the highest in the British Isles. Around the town there are many beautiful beaches as well as the Old Head Golf Links, perhaps the most spectacular golf course location in the world.
Cork City & Old English Food Market
Corks Old English Market is a unique covered food and artisan market that dates back to the middle ages. The origins of the market can be traced back to James 1st in 1610, but the present building dates from 1786. The centre is populated with some of Irelands finest gourmet restaurants and a trip to the English Market the heart of the city is a must. Here local artisans have been trading local delicacies under charming Victorian decor for almost two centuries. Among the speciality foods sold at the market are buttered eggs, pigs' feet known as Crubeens, tripe in milk and a host of specialty local fish.
West Cork Coastline Towns & Villages
The lovely West Cork coastline is among the most indented, varied and lush in Ireland. Among the highlights of this tour is the ancient Drombeg Stone Circle and the nearby quaint fishing villages of Glandore and Union Hall. There are also seaside towns of Baltimore and Schull with lots of nice shops and cafes to browse through. Further on are Bantry and Glengarriff is located at the foot of the Caha Mountains that separate Cork from Kerry. It is a dense lush sub-tropical valley that is famous for a seal colony and Italian Gardens visited by boat from The Blue Pool in Glengarriff.
Kenmare Town, Waterfalls & Bay Tour
Kenmare is one of Irelands prettiest towns nestled between the imposing Ring of Kerry Mountain Range and the Caha Mountains on the Kenmare River. Close to the town is Kenmare Stone Circle, an unusual egg shaped circle and one of the oldest and largest in the South West. In summer boats trips from the pier that tour the magnificent Bay of Kenmare can be arranged. There are wonderful tree lined walks from the 5* Park Hotel to the Bay via pretty inlets. On the outskirts of the town are the pretty waterfalls on the Sheen River, where the Sheen Falls Hotel is located.
Muckross House, Gardens & Torc Waterfall
Muckross House and Gardens is the finest Victorian Mansion and Estate in Ireland. Its position overlooking the Lakes of Killarney becomes impossibly romantic when the Rhododendrons are in full bloom. The House documents the history of all the influential families who dominated local life and politics for centuries. The estate can be walked on foot or admired from the many jaunting cars which are about. Close to the estate is the Torc Waterfall located in an enchanted wooded area which makes a small hike into the National Park very rewarding.

Our Highlights of The Ring of Kerry Tour takes in the very best of this magical landscape in a unique and unforgettable drive through the gems of the Killarney National Park. From Killarney and the Muckross Estate the narrow road winds up to Ladies View and Molls Gap where panoramic view of the lakes and distant peaks form a picturesque stop. Returning to the town of Killarney the beautiful Ross Castle is nested on a serene lakeshore with small wooden boat trips available to the nearby islands. A walk through the lively streets of Killarney is also recommended with many fine craft stores in the town centre.
Bunratty Castle, Park & Town at Leisure
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is one of the finest medieval attractions in Ireland with a wonderful Banqueting Hall which relives the lifestyle of Ireland in Medieval Times. Attached to the Castle is a restored Folk Park with building dating back three hundred years, perfectly restored to their original decor. There is excellent shopping in the area at Blarney Woollen Mills and Meadows and Byrnes. Durty Nelly's on the banks of the River Fergus has been serving Ale since the middle ages and today the dark lighting and sawdust floors retain its air of authenticity. It serves both bar and restaurant food as well as the option to pull your own pint.
West Clare, Cliffs of Moher & Doolin
West Clare is among Irelands most rugged and dramatic landscapes with shifting and sculpting stone creating unforgettable scenery such as the Cliffs of Moher, Burren Plateau and The Aran Islands. The Cliffs of Moher is the highlight of the region and can be experienced from the lofty heights looking down into the abyss of Atlantic rollers below. An alternative way to enjoy is with a cliff cruise from Doolin Pier which can be arranged depending on time of day and of course the unpredictable west coast weather.
Connemara, Sky Road & Kylemore Abbey
In the morning we will head west of Galway and the beautiful Connemara landscape which is rugged and dramatic as sheep overtake cows as the main curious onlookers. After the trail we will continue through Leenane village where the movie "The Field" was filmed. You will visit Kylemore Abbey, the only home of the Benedictine nuns in Ireland. We will travel through Letterfrack, and the coastline taking the Sky Road back to Clifden.
Ashford Castle Estate Activities & Cong
On completion of the day touring you may take the afternoon at leisure on the grounds of the castle where multiple activities such as falconry, clay pigeon shooting and horse riding / walks are available on request. It is recommended to take a boat ride on Lough Corrib and perhaps stop on the Island of St.Patrick to view the ruins of an ancient monastery.There is often evening entertainment available in the Dungeon Bar at Ashford Castle.
Dromoland Castle Estate Activities
Dromoland Castle is a wonderful property to enjoy a day of relaxation from extensive touring or a long flight. There are numerous activities that can be arranged on the grounds of the castle. For golfers there is an excellent eighteen hole parkland course which has many challenging greens. There are opportunities to go horse trekking which can be arranged through the local equestrian centre. Dromoland also arranges archery, shooting, fishing, boating and other track, field and river disciplines on their excellent landscaped grounds. Finally there is a leisure centre and spa with many treatments available if you wish to completely relax and unwind in a wonderful environment.
Galway City Centre Exploring & Shopping
Galway is Ireland's cultural, language, traditional music and artistic Capital. The city centre is famous for its lively ambience, street entertainment, shopping, cafes and pubs. As the centre of the city is all walking streets this is best explored on foot starting at Eyre Square and ending at The Claddagh Quay or vice versa. Shoppers in Galway will find an eclectic range or local goods from the Aran Sweaters to the Claddagh Rings. The Latin Quarter is veritably buzzing from the eclectic legacy of a European influenced maritime past which starts at the Spanish Arch. Dining and pubs numerous and the Quays Bar, Naughton's Pub and Mc Donaghs seafood restaurant are all favorites. We also recommend a quick stop at Lynchs Castle in the centre of Shop Street, a magnificent Gothic style castle with a macabre history.
