The trip of a lifetime – June 2023

We have been home exactly one week and as we reflect on our time in Ireland, we realize all the planning that went into having a stress-free, wonderful vacation. Ireland Chauffeur Travels far exceeded our expectations. Alison matched the driver to our interests and family. The mix of sightseeing, history, hiking, entertainment, shopping, and dining was perfect. Our driver, Podge, became a great friend. He listened to all of us and our interests. He was awesome dealing with teenagers to seniors. He always found a little something extra each day to surprise us. He helped make this trip unforgettable, from the providing of pens to sign the Peace Wall in Belfast, to that special beach outside of Kinsale.

A Wonderful Adventure- June 2023

My husband and I, along with our four other friends, thoroughly enjoyed an incredible weeklong trip through Ireland in June, thanks to Ireland Chauffeur Travel. Bob Noonan (our driver/tour guide) and Alison Lonergan (travel advisor) were absolutely amazing and I can’t thank them enough. We felt SO lucky to have Bob as our guide! His impressive deep knowledge of Ireland’s history and culture really made a huge difference in our experience on this trip, and he went out of his way to show us so many beautiful landscapes. We all appreciated his accommodating, flexible, thoughtful, friendly, humorous, and kind spirit.

An Irish experience beyond what we thought was possible – May 2023

We have just completed an amazing tour with Ireland Chauffeur Travel. Alison Lonergan worked with us and put together an itinerary that covered everything we could have hoped to see and experience.
Our guide Siobhan Morrissey, was more than we could have hoped for. Her extensive knowledge of the country and her ability to share it with us was impressive. She went out of her way to ensure we saw everything possible and showed us many hidden gems. She was also incredibly helpful in dealing with the logistics of wheelchair travel. She is incredibly kind and patient.
These two women gave us an Irish experience beyond what we thought possible.

Our experience was absolutely fantastic – March 2023

Our family of 4 (two young teens) booked a week with Ireland Chauffer travel - our experience was absolutely fantastic! Our Itinerary spanned from Galway to Northern Ireland and in between. We were paired with and amazing driver guide, Bob. Lifelong Irish and retired Garda, Bob was so wonderful to spend time with. Fun, professional, great recommendations all around. Bob and Ireland Chauffer Travel were the absolute highlight of our trip. They are willing to work with your itinerary or plan one for you. The whole experience was absolutely incredible – Jan 2023

We were a family of nine traveling together. This was a beast of a trip to plan & execute, and we could not have done without Alma and her crew.

5 stars for Ireland Chauffeur Travel – Oct 2022

We traveled with Ireland Chauffeur Travel September 10-17, 2022. I had taken prior trips to Ireland with a private driver and a CIE bus tour. Both were terrific and I had a good idea of places that I wanted my husband and friends to see. I chose Ireland Chauffeur Travel because they seemed to be very flexible about rescheduling a future trip if we were unable to go this year due to Covid or other reasons. They use comfortable Mercedes SUV’s for touring.
I gave a list of places I wanted to visit, experiences I wanted to have, and dates of travel to my contact, Michelle Lee. She developed an itinerary and suggested additional activities to include in our trip. Michelle was terrific to work with, responded promptly and kindly to my emails as we developed our tour. The hotels we stayed at were all 4 star and were centrally located for walking to restaurants and attractions in the evening.
John Healy, our Driver/Guide, was a perfect match and related well to each of us. He was very professional, always prompt on our 10-6 daily tour, well traveled internationally, had good historical knowledge of all the places we visited and took us to many places that weren’t on our itinerary that we enjoyed immensely. Our friends and my husband sing praises for John and all the wonderful experiences we had on our tour.

Wonderful family trip! – Sept 2022

My family of four had a wonderful week in Ireland with our driver Frances. We had a round-trip tour starting and ending in Dublin, heading to the west coast and back. It made it so special to have a tour guide that could recommend the best places to visit and eat with two children (6&11). So much less stressful and enjoyable than renting a car and self-guiding, worth every penny!

Excellent Travel Company – Aug 2022

Just returned from our second private guided tour that we have booked with this company. First time was about 5 years ago when we flew in and out of Shannon and toured the West and Dublin.
We did the north for 5 days after 3 days in Dublin. Our driver/guide Mr. Bobby Walsh was excellent! He is skilled experienced driver and friendly, amiable and very knowledgeable of history. Had excellent tours on way to Belfast from Dublin in spacious, comfortable and clean Mercedes van. All passengers, me, my wife and two adult children had all needs met regarding travel, sites and dining. Mr. Walsh gave a great tour of Belfast to include Falls Road and Shankill Road (‘political tour.’). Did Giants Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Derry/Londonderry with extra tour by Dermot McCluskey. Stayed in Donegal Town. Slieve League , Marble Arch caves. Saw all the counties of Ulster ( both in Northern Ireland and the Republic )with much detail. Ate local always with spot on recs from Bobby.
Always ask for Bobby Walsh if you tour Ulster. He literally and figuratively goes the extra mile!

Trip of a Lifetime – Aug 2022

We've never traveled by private tour, but I'm so glad we did and that we chose Ireland Chauffeur Travel. We spent 10 days in Ireland, 7 of which were on tour with Bob, and we are still filled with gratitude for the wonderful memories he helped us create. On the front end, we worked with Alison to create a basic itinerary that would accommodate our family of 6 ranging in age from 18-75. She made sure that we had fantastic lodging, convenient airport shuttles, wheelchairs, and a route that allowed us to visit family.
The real star of the show was our tour guide, Bob, who constantly strove to make sure we had the best experience possible. Within 5 minutes of meeting Bob and seeing how he dealt with all of our special needs, I realized how lucky we were to have someone so patient, caring and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by talking to our relatives and making sure the schedule worked for an extended visit. I could go on and on about Bob, but in the end, we felt we had traveled through Ireland with a friend and will always cherish these memories of our trip of a lifetime.

We had so much fun!!!! – Aug 2022

We just spent 12 days with Bob and could not have asked for a better experience. He has an awesome demeanor, and the patience of a Saint. We saw places we would have never known without him. If you ever met Bob in any other aspect in life, he would be your friend. His insight, historical knowledge, and recommendations made this one of the best trips of our life. Michelle Lee’s assistance with the pre-planning and itinerary couldn’t have been better. She listened to our requests and then fulfilled those needs along with nudges for other opportunities. The hotel choices were perfect. I can not recommend this team enough. We had so much fun!!!!

Amazing Ireland vacation guaranteed! – July 2022

I can't recommend Ireland Chauffeur Travel highly enough! From the first day of planning, through the entire trip, Michelle Lee, and everyone I talked with in the office, was tremendous to work with. Michelle was very flexible and accommodating. She provided lots of options and recommendations and answered all my questions throughout the planning process. Trip was fully customizable, which was very helpful as planning around schedule and interests of family of 9. Accommodations were very nice. She provided excellent customer service all around! Bob Noonan was our driver. He could not have been more hospitable, knowledgeable and professional. Roads in Ireland are narrow and we felt completely comfortable with Bob driving. Van had very comfortable seating with large windows, a great way to view and learn about the country as travel place to place. Bob shared his knowledge, answered our questions and provided great recommendations. We truly enjoyed our entire family trip thanks to Ireland Chauffeur Travel. Hands down, this was the best experience we have had traveling. From the time I reached out and started the conversation with Michelle to the very last moment of our two week visit every detail was amazingly perfect. Michelle handled putting together our itinerary based on the things we wanted to see, all hotel/Bed & Breakfast reservations and even got us tickets for New Grange to be sure we would be able to visit it. The B&Bs were all fabulous, breakfast was included and delish, but by far the best part of the experience was our driver and guide, Siobhan! Siobhan was absolutely engaged in making sure that we had a memorable trip. She made terrific suggestions for things to see and places to go and she definitely helped us maximize our time and ability to see and experience everything we could. We can’t wait to go back and visit this beautiful place and the lovely new friend we made!!
