EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is located in Dublin’s Docklands and covers the history of the Irish diaspora and emigration to other countries. EPIC opened as a €15 million “fully digital museum” in 2016, with interactive displays exploring the far-reaching influence of the Irish diaspora and celebrating “what it truly means to be Irish”.
It’s a must-do on any trip to Dublin, and celebrity guests have included Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau.

About the Museum

Whether you’re just a little curious or a fully-fledged family historian, there is something for you at the Irish Family History Centre, where the expert Genealogists can help you unearth your Irish roots. There are lots of different databases to help you get on your way. Staff will be on hand to show you how to follow the paper trail through our resources so you can start to bring your history to life!
